Three years after the launch of the European cooperation project, Distress Flare is coming to an end. Between July 2018 and July 2021, seven performances will have been created in the six partner countries: France, Belgium, Turkey, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Based on the letters from the Encyclopaedia of migrants, the performances give voice to the intimate life stories of migrants.
As part of Rennes au Pluriel and Dimanche à Rennes (Rennes Ville et Métropole / Tombées de la Nuit), L’âge de la tortue invites you to preview the documentary series directed by Nani Blasco Moya, which retraces in six episodes the development of the project in each country. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the project team.
